Just joined the forum. I've fished LKG for years, but had been living out in Texas the last 7 years before returning to NC. My family has a place in Eaton's Ferry Estates. I primarily fish for black bass, but would love to learn more about striper fishing on LKG.
I'd like to see this board take off. There are little resources on LKG online and we are loosing the only one I've used previously, the weekly Charlie Taylor report. In texas I was spoiled by texasfishingforum.com which has tremendous participation.

The only ones I've caught have been small. My dad caught one that probably went 36". I may be able to find a picture of that one.

Have fished Kerr and Falls on several occasions. Going to try Gaston by myself in the morning. If I find a boat ramp and don't tear anything up I will consider it a success.

Could not find the grass. No grass = No bass.

What water temps did you see? The lake is full of hydrilla by the end of summer, but a lot dies back over winter. I haven't fished LKG much in the winter months, but I hear it can be tough.
